Job in Austin
A malfunctioning HVAC system prompted us to conduct a thorough diagnostic in Austin. We inspected both the indoor and outdoor heat pump units, which were freezing despite recent maintenance. The unit was unable to reach the set temperature, so we assessed potential issues such as low refrigerant levels or blockages. After our evaluation, we provided insights on the repair possibilities, ensuring clarity on the next steps needed for optimal performance.
Leaking Evaporator Coil
The cooling system was experiencing significant issues, leading us to investigate its performance. We discovered that the system was low on refrigerant due to extensive leaks in the evaporator coil. After providing a quote for replacing the coil, we recommended replacing the entire system, considering its age and overall efficiency.
Replaced Thermostat
The outdated thermostat in the home was causing significant temperature inconsistencies. We removed it and installed a new Ecobee thermostat, ensuring it was securely connected to the Wi-Fi and calibrated for optimal performance, enhancing comfort and energy efficiency.
